For the eighth year in a row I created a Christmas Lego exhibition for the mall Moldetorget, in downtown Molde. Lego building on commission? How do you like them apples, mom?
This is the first time the exhibition is set up in the women’s clothing store, Claire. The reason is that Norway’s oldest photo store, where it’s been placed for the past 4 years, went bankrupt this autumn. 🙁
This year I created typical and traditional Norwegian farm, where people lived off what they produced. Self suffiency, as we called it. These farms are today holiday homes for relatives of the ones that built the farm, or they have been sold to city folks wanting the pleasures of rural Norway.
I’m especially happy with the house. It’s among my best creations. It was inspired by the house that my dad grew up, and which was my childhood summer paradise, but I’ve also included elements and design from a typical house from the time period 1920 – 1950.
Let me know what you think in the comments!
